The role requires deep expertise in SAS AML solutions, transaction monitoring systems, and project delivery in complex multi-jurisdiction banking environments.

What You’ll Do
* Lead AML system design and implementation projects, focusing on SAS AML solutions
* Design, develop, and enhance AML systems to meet compliance and reporting needs
* Integrate SAS AML with core banking systems, data lakes, and enterprise databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL, Hadoop)
* Map and manage data flows from source systems such as onboarding and mobile applications into SAS AML models
* Collaborate with compliance and IT teams to align AML system functionality with regulatory and business requirements
* Optimize AML solutions to reduce false positives and improve monitoring processes
* Prepare and maintain architecture and design documents for AML systems
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery
* Apply project management principles across both waterfall and agile (SCRUM) models
* Support ongoing BAU initiatives and manage AML technology projects across multiple jurisdictions
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or Computer Science
* 10+ years of experience in banking IT, with at least 5 years dedicated to AML technology projects
* Proven expertise in SAS AML implementation and integration with diverse banking applications
* Strong background in transaction monitoring, sanctions systems, and compliance projects
* Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management
* Professional certifications such as SAS or ACAMS preferred
* Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments, JIRA, and Confluence is an advantage
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams and deliver results
