Role Context
This position is responsible for supporting sales growth, improving customer onboarding quality, and maintaining strong business banking relationships across assigned market areas. The selected professional will help drive revenue targets, distribute leads, strengthen compliance standards, and ensure excellent customer service while supporting team performance and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the team in achieving monthly and annual sales, revenue, and KPI targets across all business banking products
* Help generate quality leads and distribute opportunities effectively across the sales team
* Allocate team coverage across different market areas to ensure maximum business utilization and customer reach
* Monitor and track cross-selling opportunities and ensure proper follow-up with relevant business units
* Maintain daily sales reports and performance dashboards for management review
* Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients to increase wallet share and long-term customer value
* Monitor the quality of customer onboarding completed by team members and ensure accurate CDD and documentation standards
* Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, fraud control, and client application requirements across all onboarding activities
* Maintain close market monitoring and provide regular updates to management on opportunities and competitor activity
* Ensure strong product, policy, and process knowledge to deliver superior onboarding and customer service experiences
* Conduct random customer follow-up calls to verify service quality and customer satisfaction
* Resolve or escalate customer complaints and redress requests to ensure timely resolution
* Participate actively in training, people development, and learning programs to strengthen sales capability
* Share market intelligence and suggestions with management to improve products, services, and internal processes
* Ensure adherence to all internal audit, risk control assessment, and compliance standards across the business banking department
* Support governance and controls to minimize operational risks and protect the bank franchise through quality customer acquisition
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Marketing, or related discipline
* Strong experience in banking sales, business banking, or relationship management roles
* Good understanding of client onboarding, KYC, AML, and compliance processes
* Strong sales orientation with ability to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
* Good knowledge of business banking products, cross-selling opportunities, and customer service standards
* Strong reporting, coordination, and market monitoring skills
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced banking environment
