Role Context
This position plays a critical role in supporting the Islamic Product team by managing Shariah-compliant product propositions and ensuring Islamic finance solutions are aligned with business growth objectives. The selected professional will work closely with multiple business units to support product structuring, compliance alignment, and the expansion of Islamic banking offerings across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Islamic Products in managing the bank’s Shariah-compliant product portfolio
* Act as the first point of contact for Islamic product offerings across various business units of the bank
* Strengthen Islamic finance product propositions across Global Transaction Banking and international banking operations
* Assist in the design, review, and enhancement of Islamic banking products and services
* Ensure all Islamic product structures align with Shariah principles and internal governance requirements
* Coordinate with business teams to identify opportunities for new Islamic product development and market expansion
* Support product approvals, documentation, and internal alignment for Shariah-compliant offerings
* Work closely with compliance, legal, treasury, and operations teams to ensure product readiness and execution
* Assist in developing Islamic product frameworks that support customer needs and commercial growth
* Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to improve product competitiveness and innovation
* Support stakeholder engagement across domestic and international teams for seamless Islamic banking solutions
* Contribute to training and awareness initiatives related to Islamic finance products within the bank
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
* Strong experience in Islamic banking, Islamic finance product management, or Shariah-compliant banking solutions
* Good understanding of Islamic finance principles, Shariah structures, and banking product frameworks
* Experience in Global Transaction Banking, trade finance, or international banking products is preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with product structuring capability
* Good stakeholder management skills across business, legal, compliance, and operations teams
* Strong communication and presentation abilities with professional commercial awareness
