Role Context
This role supports the group tax function by assisting in corporate tax computations, regulatory submissions, and compliance monitoring under UAE tax laws. It plays a key role in maintaining accurate tax records, supporting audits, and ensuring alignment with evolving tax regulations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparation of UAE corporate tax computations and supporting schedules
* Coordinate with financial reporting teams to reconcile balances from Oracle and related systems
* Support submission of tax information through regulatory portals
* Maintain accurate tax documentation to support compliance and audit requirements
* Assist in responding to queries from regulators and Ministry of Finance
* Work with internal tax teams to resolve ongoing tax issues and support project requirements
* Monitor adherence to internal tax policies and identify compliance gaps
* Support development and improvement of tax policies across business units
* Assist in handling tax authority audits, enquiries, and regulatory reviews
* Maintain organized records of tax documentation for future reference
* Participate in new product discussions to ensure tax compliance considerations
* Provide support on ad hoc tax-related projects
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA, AAT, or UAE corporate tax certification preferred
* Experience in financial accounting and exposure to corporate tax processes
* Banking or financial services experience preferred
* Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
