Key Responsibilities
* Analyze audited financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and complex financial reports to support credit decision-making.
* Prepare detailed credit proposals, credit submissions, and recommendations for assigned relationship managers.
* Maintain accuracy in financial spreading, credit analysis, and risk commentary within benchmarked turnaround times.
* Support onboarding and monitoring of discretionary lending customers across assigned corporate banking portfolios.
* Identify key credit risks, mitigants, lending considerations, and transaction strengths in line with FAB’s risk appetite.
* Follow up on origination and execution of customer transactions to support timely completion.
* Assist relationship managers with client portfolio administration, documentation, and customer file maintenance.
* Ensure customer data, system records, financial information, and supporting documents are accurate and updated on time.
* Generate internal and external reports for checks on prospective and existing customers.
* Attend to client queries professionally and ensure responses are delivered within agreed service standards.
* Support customer service and customer satisfaction outcomes across assigned portfolios.
* Greet and guide clients on relevant FAB products, services, and access channels.
* Execute relevant client financial transactions in line with bank policies, procedures, and service quality standards.
* Educate clients on access options such as corporate internet banking and phone banking where appropriate.
* Identify cross-sell opportunities by assessing client needs and referring customers to specialists in Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury, and other product areas.
* Collaborate with peers and internal teams to ensure effective support, service delivery, and achievement of individual and team sales goals.
* Follow departmental policies, standard operating procedures, authorization matrix, governance frameworks, and internal control requirements.
* Contribute to process improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and sustainability of systems and practices.
* Prepare timely and accurate statements, reports, and portfolio updates in line with department requirements.
* Perform additional business tasks requested by the line manager.
Ideal Profile
* Experience in credit analysis, corporate banking, financial spreading, lending support, relationship management support, or credit proposal preparation.
* Strong ability to analyze audited financial statements, cash flow forecasts, financial ratios, business performance, and repayment capacity.
* Understanding of lending risk, credit risk appetite, customer onboarding, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
* Ability to prepare clear credit submissions with risk analysis, mitigants, recommendations, and supporting financial commentary.
* Good knowledge of corporate banking products, discretionary lending, client servicing, and transaction follow-up.
* Strong attention to detail when maintaining customer records, data quality, financial spreading, and documentation.
* Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and coordinate with product specialists for client solutions.
* Professional communication skills for handling client queries, internal coordination, and report preparation.
