First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is hiring a Credit Analyst to assess and approve financing applications secured against residential and commercial real estate. The role involves analyzing audited financial statements, preparing detailed credit assessments, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s risk appetite and target market criteria.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct detailed reviews and assessments of loan proposals in line with FAB’s credit policies and underwriting standards
* Analyze audited financial statements to evaluate borrower eligibility and financial health
* Manage an allocated client portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, and delinquency oversight
* Identify and address early warning signals in collaboration with business teams
* Engage with senior business leaders and clients to structure facilities that balance customer needs with risk controls
* Participate in client meetings to better understand client requirements and credit risks
* Ensure compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
* Prepare and submit high-quality credit proposals and memos to senior approving authorities
* Contribute to continuous improvement of credit policies and processes to reflect changing market dynamics
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, or Commerce (professional qualifications preferred)
* 2–5 years of experience in Corporate or SME credit analysis within banking
* Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and internal credit approval processes
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
* Ability to manage multiple client portfolios while ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Team player with strong ethical standards and attention to detail
