Position Overview
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join its Commercial Banking division in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for reviewing and processing credit facility applications, monitoring portfolios, and ensuring that only high-quality assets are booked while safeguarding the bank’s interests.

What You’ll Do
* Review and process credit facility applications and transaction requests for Commercial Banking customers
* Conduct in-depth analysis and provide recommendations for approval or rejection of requests
* Ensure compliance with delegation matrices, policies, and credit approval standards
* Manage a portfolio of accounts, following up with business units to ensure adherence to credit terms
* Monitor early warning cases and update business units to mitigate risks and safeguard bank interests
* Follow up on internal audit reports and coordinate timely resolution of audit findings
* Collaborate with credit analysts to review financial and business information provided
* Maintain high-quality standards in credit booking and portfolio management
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, or Finance (Master’s preferred)
* 12–15 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in Credit
* Strong analytical and financial assessment skills with expertise in credit risk management
* Proven ability to manage large portfolios and ensure compliance with audit and credit standards
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to identify risks early and recommend effective mitigation strategies
