Key Responsibilities
Client Management and Business Development
* Support the Corporate Finance Advisory team in originating and executing equity capital market and corporate finance transactions.
* Participate in client meetings and assist in transaction execution and documentation.
* Prepare detailed marketing presentations, pitch books, investor materials, information memoranda, and term sheets.
* Develop full financial models for corporate finance transactions using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, DDM, and merger analysis.
* Evaluate business models and financial reports to support transaction recommendations.
* Assist with due diligence, compliance checks, and coordination of cross-functional reviews (legal, risk, and financial).
Policies, Systems, and Procedures
* Ensure all departmental policies and processes comply with FAB’s corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
* Identify and recommend continuous improvements in systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Self-Management and Development
* Set and achieve annual performance goals in alignment with departmental objectives.
* Pursue professional development and training to strengthen ECM and financial advisory skills.
* Stay updated on market developments, trends, and new investment opportunities in regional and global capital markets.
Key Performance Indicators
* Timely and accurate delivery of client services and transaction documentation.
* Compliance with FAB policies, risk management, and internal audit standards.
* High-quality financial models, presentations, and analysis outputs.
* Contribution to successful transaction closures and client satisfaction.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, or ECM roles within a reputable international bank or Big 4 firm.
* Prior exposure to global financial markets such as London, New York, Singapore, or Hong Kong is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of equity markets, transaction structures, and valuation methodologies.
* Advanced skills in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
* Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
