Role Context
This role oversees the full lifecycle of escrow operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory frameworks. It involves coordination with internal teams, developers, regulators, and external stakeholders to safeguard client funds and support real estate and project finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily escrow operations ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing
* Supervise escrow account activities including disbursements, collections, and reconciliations
* Ensure full compliance with escrow laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
* Coordinate with developers, consultants, and regulators for escrow-related approvals and processes
* Oversee preparation of regulatory submissions, audit reports, and compliance documentation
* Guide operational teams on escrow instructions aligned with legal and regulatory standards
* Monitor project-related payments including construction and consultancy disbursements
* Collaborate with internal banking units including payments, trade finance, and client services
* Resolve client queries and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
* Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
* Track departmental performance metrics and prepare management reports
Ideal Profile
* Experience in escrow operations, project finance, or corporate banking
* Strong understanding of escrow laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across banking and external entities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Experience in handling audits, regulatory reporting, and governance requirements
* Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
* Ability to work in high-pressure environments with strong attention to detail
