Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily escrow department requests and ensure transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with approved procedures.
* Manage escrow accounts, client requests, project-related payments, fees collections, and regulatory submissions.
* Ensure full adherence to escrow laws, regulator circulars, amendments, meeting records, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
* Prepare data for regulators and verify accuracy before submission through relevant systems.
* Prepare audit reports, regulatory daily requirements, and departmental performance updates covering key metrics and compliance status.
* Review engineer reports for weekly or monthly construction and consultancy payments in line with escrow law and related regulations.
* Guide developers on regulatory TAS system processes and ensure strict compliance before release of project expenses from escrow accounts.
* Coordinate with operations teams to ensure all instructions are lawful, complete, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with developers, clients, real estate agents, lenders, vendors, engineering companies, and internal stakeholders.
* Address client inquiries and resolve escrow-related issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
* Identify and mitigate risks linked to escrow transactions and apply best practices to safeguard client funds.
* Continuously evaluate escrow workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
* Collaborate with GTB Advisory, Client Services, Payment Centre, Channel Support, branch network, relationship managers, IT Desk, Operations, and other stakeholders.
* Participate in reviews of client agreements, service standards, and service quality to help meet and exceed client expectations.
* Coordinate with TFU for SWIFT communication to guarantee issuing banks when required.
* Work with procurement teams to process vendor invoices and communicate settlement details to vendors.
* Support product roadmap activity, backlog prioritization, requirements clarification, UAT, defect triage, and final sign-off where escrow systems or process enhancements are involved.
* Ensure solutions and process changes comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
* Educate clients on escrow laws, their rights, process limitations, and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Profile
* Minimum university degree.
* At least 5 years of banking experience, with corporate banking, project finance, or escrow operations experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of escrow laws, regulations, practices, and the role of a bank as escrow agent.
* Sound knowledge of corporate banking products, banking operations, client servicing, and regulatory processes.
* Experience handling requirements gathering and documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, numerical, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to understand project credentials, escrow payment requirements, regulator expectations, and audit documentation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in business English and Arabic.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage developers, clients, vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, high workloads, and pressurized timelines.
* Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
* Self-motivated professional with a hands-on approach, strong work ethics, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
