Role Context
This role leads the bank’s global aviation portfolio outside the UAE, focusing on complex structured finance transactions and long-term client partnerships. It plays a critical role in expanding international market presence, ensuring portfolio quality, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Originate and manage aviation finance transactions across global markets including airlines, lessors, airports, and service providers
* Structure complex cross-border financing solutions aligned with client and market requirements
* Conduct financial and market analysis to assess opportunities, risks, and industry trends
* Develop and present transaction proposals including term sheets and mandate documentation
* Maintain high portfolio credit quality and ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks
* Build and strengthen relationships with global aviation clients and financial institutions
* Lead deal negotiations and execution while ensuring optimal returns
* Drive cross-selling opportunities across banking products and services
* Monitor market developments and adjust strategies to maintain competitive positioning
* Guide and support team members to ensure high performance and expertise
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
* Extensive experience in aviation finance, structured finance, or corporate banking
* Strong understanding of global aviation markets and asset-based financing
* Proven ability to originate and execute large-scale international transactions
* Strong credit analysis, risk management, and financial structuring expertise
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Leadership experience in managing high-performing teams
