Role Context
This role ensures financial accuracy across issuing and acquiring operations by managing reconciliation processes, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining proper financial records. It plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, audit readiness, and data integrity within the bank’s financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily reconciliation and exception management activities
* Prepare and maintain GL account reconciliations with accuracy
* Monitor outstanding items and ensure timely resolution
* Escalate ageing discrepancies and maintain supporting documentation
* Process financial vouchers related to issuing and acquiring transactions
* Post amortization entries for prepaid expenses
* Support monthly reporting and account substantiation processes
* Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with internal controls
* Assist in internal and external audit requests with accurate data
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
* Experience in financial operations or payment reconciliation
* Strong understanding of reconciliation principles and financial controls
* Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong communication and coordination skills
