Role Context
This role operates within financial operations supporting payment and card-related reconciliations. It ensures accurate reporting, timely exception handling, and adherence to financial governance frameworks while contributing to process improvements and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily GL reconciliation activities ensuring compliance with internal control standards
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies across issuing and acquiring accounts
* Track outstanding items and escalate unresolved cases within defined timelines
* Prepare reconciliation reports and maintain accurate supporting documentation
* Process financial vouchers and support monthly amortization activities
* Assist in preparing AOV inputs and validating account balances
* Maintain audit-ready records and ensure adherence to financial governance policies
* Coordinate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues and close exceptions
* Support audit requests by providing clear and accurate financial data
* Contribute to system testing and improvements impacting reconciliation processes
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
* Strong understanding of GL accounts and reconciliation processes
* Exposure to payments or card operations preferred
* Ability to manage detailed financial data with accuracy
