Role Context
This role supports financial operations by managing reconciliation processes for GL accounts related to payments and card operations. It ensures timely exception handling, compliance with internal controls, and contributes to operational efficiency and financial accuracy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily reconciliation of GL accounts with high accuracy and adherence to internal controls
* Monitor and resolve exceptions, ensuring timely clearance of outstanding items
* Maintain proper documentation and escalate ageing items when required
* Process financial vouchers related to issuing and acquiring operations
* Support monthly amortization of prepaid expenses and account substantiation
* Prepare AOV inputs and assist in validating financial balances
* Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with financial control frameworks
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and close open items
* Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely information
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancement feedback
* Assist in testing activities related to system updates impacting reconciliation processes
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
* Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
* Experience in payments or card operations preferred
* Ability to handle both routine and complex reconciliation tasks
