* Establish and enforce a strong operational control framework to reduce trade errors, failed transactions, and financial loss events.
* Lead trade exception management, break investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
* Implement control checks that support data accuracy, trade integrity, account allocation discipline, and position consistency.
* Reassess operational risks as market conditions, regulatory expectations, product activity, and internal control requirements evolve.

* Manage team managers and staff through performance objectives, mentoring, skills development, and succession planning.
* Ensure the middle office team is appropriately resourced, trained, engaged, and prepared for current and future Global Markets business needs.
* Coordinate client activation and data readiness with COO KYC, Reference Data, Credit, Global Markets Documentation, and other internal functions.
* Manage timely setup of new client relationships and ensure required operational readiness before trading activity begins.
* Supervise trade execution controls, including booking timeliness, client account allocation, portfolio allocation, dealer position integrity, and sales position accuracy.
* Perform or oversee same-day trade validations to ensure FAB books remain accurate and controlled.
* Govern post-trade amendments, cancellations, and related approval controls.

* Communicate operational status, risk themes, escalations, and improvement plans to senior Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders.
* Liaise with clients, counterparties, prime brokerage clients, custodians, clearing houses, and executing brokers on operational issues and break resolution.
* Function within group policies, organizational governance frameworks, and approved authorization matrix requirements.
