Role Context
This position leads the development and commercialization of API-led banking solutions across global transaction banking, treasury services, and digital asset platforms. It plays a critical role in embedding banking services into client ecosystems while ensuring scalability, compliance, and long-term product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and lead the API product vision and roadmap aligned with transaction banking and digital strategy
* Drive adoption of API and open banking capabilities across payments, liquidity, escrow, and trade finance solutions
* Own end-to-end product lifecycle including design, launch, scaling, and optimization
* Enable integration of banking services into ERP, TMS, and partner digital ecosystems
* Collaborate with fintech partners to develop innovative financial use cases
* Establish pricing models, commercialization strategies, and value realization frameworks
* Monitor product performance, usage analytics, and client adoption metrics
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including UAE Central Bank and international standards
* Embed risk controls, governance frameworks, and operational resilience within API solutions
* Work closely with technology, business, and control functions to ensure alignment and delivery
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Finance, or related discipline
* 12-18 years of experience in banking, fintech, or digital product management
* Strong expertise in API platforms, open banking, and digital transformation
* Experience with transaction banking, treasury, and digital asset solutions
* Proven track record in product lifecycle management and commercialization
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
* Ability to drive innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance
