Position Overview
The Head of UX and Design will own the UX strategy, design system, and delivery framework for consumer digital channels. The role builds and leads a high-performing UX team, leverages market and customer insights, and partners with product, engineering, and agencies to ship elegant, accessible, and measurable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Define UX vision, design principles, and KPIs for consumer digital channels
* Establish and evolve a scalable design system with components, tokens, and accessibility guidelines
* Lead service design, journey mapping, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specs for web and mobile
* Embed design thinking workshops and discovery practices with cross-functional teams
* Translate insights from research, analytics, and VOC into testable hypotheses and A-B experiments
* Partner with product owners and engineering to deliver pixel-accurate, performant interfaces
* Govern agency engagement, quality standards, and handoff workflows
* Champion accessibility, content design, and localization best practices
* Implement Agile ways of working with sprint rituals, backlog prioritization, and definition of done
* Track UX metrics such as task success, time on task, NPS, CSAT, and conversion lift
Candidate Requirements
* 10 plus years managing UX and design in digital environments with a shipped portfolio
* 5 plus years leading design teams and agency partnerships
* Expertise in design systems and modern tools such as Figma and Sketch
* Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Hands-on with service design, journey mapping, usability testing, and rapid prototyping
* Working knowledge of Agile practices, requirements definition, content design, web development, and QA
* Inquisitive, data-informed, and delivery-focused mindset
