Position Overview
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an Institutional Execution Trader for an on-site role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position is responsible for executing equity, fixed income, and other mandated orders for domestic and international institutional clients based on their instructions. The role requires disciplined trade execution, liquidity sourcing, institutional client support, and strict adherence to FABS policies, exchange requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

Institutional Trade Execution
* Execute buy and sell orders on behalf of institutional clients.
* Handle equity, fixed income, and other mandated transactions according to client instructions.
* Execute orders
received from Sales Traders and report completed executions promptly.
* Maintain a consistently high standard of professional execution for institutional clients.
* Manage the distribution of orders within the execution team.
* Support efficient handling of institutional order flow across active markets.
Liquidity and Block Trading Support
The role requires active engagement with market participants to support execution requirements and identify available liquidity.
* Source liquidity from other brokers and clients.
* Develop and maintain a database of available block securities.
* Work with the execution team to facilitate institutional transactions.
* Use market knowledge and available intelligence to support effective execution.
Institutional Client and Business Support
* Assist the trading department in converting institutional client leads.
* Present the trading desk\'s execution capabilities and market intelligence to prospective institutional clients.
* Communicate FABS service offerings and their value proposition clearly.
* Apply relationship management and business development skills when interacting with institutional clients.
* Support the desk\'s efforts to differentiate its execution services within active markets.
Regulatory and Execution Controls
* Follow applicable legal, compliance, and risk management policies and procedures.
* Execute client instructions in accordance with FABS requirements.
* Maintain adherence to applicable exchange and regulatory requirements.
* Apply knowledge of ESCA and UAE market regulations.
* Remain aware of relevant regulatory pronouncements issued by applicable local and international regulators and related practices.
* Maintain appropriate professional standards throughout the execution process.
Reporting
* Prepare daily and weekly call reports.
* Submit required reports to the Head of Desk within the expected timelines.
* Report trade executions promptly following completion.
Qualifications and Experience
* Graduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
* 4 years of relevant relationship management experience.
* At least 3 years of experience within a brokerage firm.
* Broker Dealer experience is preferred.
* Knowledge of ESCA and UAE market regulations.
* Understanding of relevant local and international regulatory requirements.
* Strong relationship management capabilities.
* Business development and sales skills.
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
