Role Context
This role supports the legal function in managing risks related to payment products and services while enabling business growth through compliant and well-structured legal frameworks. Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice on banking products, especially payment services and digital initiatives
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including payment service agreements and partnerships
* Support the development and launch of new financial products through legal due diligence
* Manage litigation and dispute resolution in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
* Represent the bank in legal proceedings when required
* Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulatory requirements
* Develop and update legal policies, templates, and standard agreements
* Monitor regulatory changes and advise business teams on implications
* Liaise with external law firms, courts, and regulatory authorities
* Support internal teams with legal risk assessments and mitigation strategies

* Qualified legal professional with experience in banking or financial services
* Strong knowledge of payment systems, banking regulations, and legal frameworks
* Experience in drafting and negotiating complex financial contracts
