Manager - Corporate Credit

Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate credit operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Assess credit applications, analyze financial statements, and determine risk exposure
- Implement and oversee credit scoring systems to improve evaluation processes
- Collaborate with business units to provide credit insights and support lending decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and financial institutions
- Ensure timely processing of credit applications while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Provide recommendations for credit approvals, restructuring, and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay updated with credit laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their credit assessment and risk evaluation skills
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage
- Relevant professional qualifications are preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within corporate credit
- Strong knowledge of credit laws, regulatory requirements, and financial risk assessment
- Experience with credit scoring systems is preferred
- Excellent analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent mathematical, computer, and financial modeling skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
