What You’ll Do
* Conduct independent operational risk assessments aligned with Group Operational Risk Management (GORM) frameworks
* Track, report, and mitigate incidents using the Archer system, ensuring ownership and resolution
* Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), and action plans for identified operational risks
* Collaborate with functional units within OICG scope to implement process improvements and close audit/review findings
* Perform periodic operational reviews to identify and control potential risk exposures
* Support issue remediation and maintain logs of open items for regular follow-up and closure
* Assist in ensuring full adherence to AML guidelines, UAE Central Bank regulations, and FAB’s internal compliance policies
* Develop exception reports and internal control dashboards to support governance and decision-making
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to risk processes and operational standards
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
* 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking, with at least 3 years in operational risk or internal control roles
* Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations, AML requirements, and industry best practices in risk management
* Strong knowledge of RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident handling, and regulatory compliance frameworks
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
* Professional certifications such as ORM, FRM, or CRMA are a plus
* Ability to work independently, manage time-sensitive tasks, and thrive in a dynamic environment
