The role focuses on valuation control, business performance analysis, and financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in product control or FP&A, with hands-on knowledge of Murex and market data tools like Bloomberg or Reuters.

Job Overview
The Product Control Analyst will play a key role in supporting business performance tracking, financial reporting, valuation processes, and budget analysis within Global Markets Finance. The role includes reporting to VP level, handling BAU control processes, and contributing to continuous improvements to ensure strong internal controls and compliance with IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain valuation control frameworks aligned with IFRS 9 and IFRS 13
* Assist in transitioning the valuation infrastructure to best market practices through project involvement
* Perform Account Ownership Verification (AOV) and monthly CPR reporting
* Deliver business performance commentary and GM monthly performance packs
* Support sales revenue reporting and segment analysis
* Assist with annual budgeting, operating cost monitoring, and tracking against targets
* Generate accurate and timely financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting with strategic objectives
Required Skills and Experience
* 5 to 7 years of experience in product control, FP&A, or valuation control in the banking sector
* In-depth knowledge of financial instruments across asset classes
* Strong understanding of IFRS, derivative valuation techniques, and performance attribution
* Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, and banking systems such as Murex
* Ability to manage independent reporting responsibilities and deliver on strict timelines
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
* CPA, CA, CFA, or FRM certifications are preferred
