Position Overview
As the Project and Governance Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of banking projects—defining scope, setting objectives, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance frameworks. You will also manage governance responsibilities, ensuring adherence to operational risk practices and business continuity standards, while acting as the key liaison between internal teams, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
* Plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects within the retail banking domain
* Ensure all initiatives comply with regulatory standards and internal risk policies
* Oversee and coordinate activities related to RCSA, ORM, BIA, and BCP
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones, adjusting plans as needed
* Serve as the central point of contact for all internal departments and external stakeholders
* Mitigate risks by proactively identifying issues and implementing contingency plans
* Maintain full project documentation, reporting progress to senior leadership
* Manage vendor communications, resource allocation, and reconciliation processes
Ideal Profile
* 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
* In-depth understanding of RCSA, ORM, BIA, BCP, and banking regulatory requirements
* Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery models
* Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across departments
* Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team management skills
* Excellent communication and documentation abilities
* Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field is preferred
