We are hiring a QA Tester with hands-on experience in the banking domain for a full-time role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of testing experience, strong manual and automation testing skills, and prior exposure to core banking platforms such as Flexcube, CASA, and trade systems. Job Overview
The QA Tester will play a key role in end-to-end testing of banking applications, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking. This role requires expertise in manual, API, and automation testing, along with familiarity in widely used test management tools and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for banking applications
* Develop and run automation test scripts as per project requirements
* Perform end-to-end UAT including preparation of test plans and reporting outcomes
* Conduct manual testing for mobile, web, and product-based platforms
* Execute API testing and validate data consistency and performance
* Track defects and log issues using test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Test Link, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps
* Coordinate daily with operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth testing cycles
* Provide regular status updates to the QA lead or line manager
Job Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of QA experience in the banking domain
* Practical knowledge of core banking systems like Flexcube, CASA, payments, and trade products
* Experience in both manual and automation testing approaches
* Skilled in test case documentation, execution, and defect lifecycle management
* Familiarity with tools including JIRA, Test Link, Bugzilla, ALM, Azure DevOps, and BrowserStack
* Fluent in Arabic is preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
