Role Context
This position supports core financial operations by handling reconciliation activities for payment systems and card-related accounts. It plays a key role in identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement in reconciliation processes and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute daily GL reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal financial controls
* Monitor and resolve reconciliation exceptions within defined timelines
* Track outstanding items and escalate ageing issues with proper documentation
* Process financial vouchers related to issuing and acquiring operations in line with policies
* Perform monthly amortization of prepaid expenses and validate account balances
* Prepare AOV inputs and support balance substantiation activities
* Maintain detailed audit trails and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and close open items
* Support system testing and enhancements impacting reconciliation workflows
* Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
* Strong understanding of GL reconciliation and financial processes
* Experience in payments or card operations environment preferred
* Ability to manage high-volume data with precision and consistency
