Job Overview
As a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking at FAB, your primary role is to manage a profitable customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking solutions, originate credit proposals, and deepen client engagement at the executive level. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and achieving sales and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a defined portfolio of commercial banking clients
* Originate new business across lending and non-lending products
* Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely updates
* Prepare and initiate credit proposals and conduct risk analysis
* Ensure compliance with approved credit terms and operational policies
* Maximize share of wallet across all banking products
* Resolve escalated service issues and maintain high service quality
* Prospect new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
* Engage with senior executives (CEO/CFO) to provide banking insights
* Monitor portfolio performance and maintain relationship health
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Banking (preferred)
* 8+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or business banking
* Minimum 3 years in a similar client-facing, borrowing portfolio role
* Strong understanding of credit analysis, client onboarding, and portfolio management
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Proven ability to meet revenue, service, and growth targets
* Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and lending practices
