Key Responsibilities
* Lead large-scale banking transformation programmes across risk, regulatory change, finance, data, analytics, and technology-enabled delivery.
* Own programme governance, including planning, RAID management, change control, budgeting, vendor coordination, executive reporting, and delivery assurance.
* Translate complex regulatory, risk, capital, and Basel-related requirements into clear workstreams, milestones, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
* Work closely with ERM, Group Risk, Finance, Treasury, ALM, Business, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and vendor teams to maintain delivery alignment.
* Drive senior stakeholder decisions, resolve conflicts across matrix teams, and maintain momentum in a highly regulated banking environment.
* Oversee delivery related to capital, RWA, Basel III, Basel IV, regulatory reporting, methodology, model risk, and finance transformation requirements.
* Ensure strong data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, reconciliations, controls, integration, testing, and regulator-ready documentation.
* Support the production delivery of analytics and Gen-AI solutions while ensuring governance, confidentiality, auditability, and compliance with banking controls.
* Maintain clear communication with executive forums, governance committees, ALCO-related stakeholders, and senior business leaders.
* Strengthen programme discipline across internal teams and third-party partners to ensure delivery quality, risk control, and measurable business outcomes.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* Master’s degree such as MBA, MS, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
* 15-20 years of experience leading major cross-functional programmes within banking or financial services.
* Strong background in Tier-1 bank or D-SIB environments is preferred.
* Proven delivery record in risk transformation, regulatory change, finance transformation, capital management, RWA, or Basel III and Basel IV programmes.
* Hands-on experience delivering analytics or Gen-AI solutions into production within regulated banking environments.
* Strong matrix leadership across ERM, Risk, Finance, Treasury, ALM, Business, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Audit stakeholders.
* Project or programme certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe, or equivalent senior delivery experience is preferred.
* Risk or regulatory credentials such as FRM will be an added advantage.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality, executive presence, and problem-solving ability in ambiguous delivery environments.
