Role Context
The role is part of the Global Corporate Finance division at First Abu Dhabi Bank, supporting senior bankers in executing M and A advisory and equity capital markets transactions. The Senior Associate plays an important role in financial modelling, transaction coordination, and delivering high-quality advisory services to clients across regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support origination and execution of M and A and ECM transactions across buy-side and sell-side mandates
* Assist senior leadership in managing transaction processes and deliverables
* Prepare detailed financial models for valuation, forecasting, and deal analysis
* Develop pitch materials, presentations, and investor documentation
* Conduct financial, legal, and risk due diligence for transactions
* Collaborate with internal teams to maximize transaction outcomes and client value
* Analyze financial statements, market trends, and macroeconomic factors
* Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and transaction ideas
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within corporate finance processes
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
* 5 to 10 years of experience in corporate finance, M and A, or ECM environments
* Strong expertise in financial analysis and valuation techniques
* Experience in transaction execution within investment banking
* Exposure to international financial markets is an advantage
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
