Senior Business Analyst
Are you a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in banking and financial services? Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and users to gather and document business requirements
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand project needs, objectives, and constraints
- Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into functional specifications
- Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle, ensuring accessibility for stakeholders
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure business requirements are effectively implemented in technical solutions
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between business teams and technical teams
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle activities, ensuring timely execution and delivery
- Apply business analysis best practices in both waterfall and agile project environments
Required Skills and Experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 to 5 years in the banking or financial industry
- Hands-on experience in IT and business-based projects within a business analyst capacity
- Strong functional expertise in one or more of the following domains: personal banking, business banking, SME, wealth management, digital banking, or corporate banking
- Prior technical background is a definite advantage
- CBAP or any business analysis certification is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in creating detailed BRDs, functional specifications, and other project documentation
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies is an advantage
