Role Context
This role operates at the enterprise level, ensuring that all projects and programs are aligned with business strategy while maintaining governance, transparency, and execution control. It supports executive leadership with data-driven insights, manages portfolio risks, and ensures that investments and resources are optimized to deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee portfolio governance ensuring full alignment with corporate strategy and enterprise objectives
* Lead execution governance including reporting, committees, and senior management engagement
* Prepare and run portfolio governance forums, presenting performance insights to executive stakeholders
* Monitor portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
* Define dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to enhance transparency across programs
* Track benefits realization and ensure value delivery post project implementation
* Lead portfolio planning activities including demand management and prioritization
* Review portfolio financials and ensure efficient investment allocation
* Develop resource planning strategies aligned with project requirements and timelines
* Manage interdependencies across multiple programs and ensure coordination across teams
* Support delivery teams and program managers in resolving escalations and operational challenges
* Promote governance best practices and improve portfolio management maturity across the organization
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Management, or related discipline
* MBA or equivalent master’s degree preferred
* 15+ years of experience in portfolio management, PMO, or banking technology environments
* Strong experience managing large-scale programs and enterprise portfolios
* Proven experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing decision-making
* Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies preferred
* Experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments
