Role Context
This role is responsible for developing and expanding transaction banking business by structuring tailored financial solutions for corporate and NBFI clients. It plays a critical role in driving revenue, strengthening cross-border client relationships, and enhancing the bank’s presence across key international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Structure and deliver transaction banking solutions including payments, liquidity, and trade finance for corporate and NBFI clients
* Collaborate with coverage teams across UAE and East Asia to originate and execute business opportunities
* Build and manage strong client relationships to expand transaction banking portfolio and market share
* Lead structuring of complex trade and treasury-related solutions to meet client needs
* Monitor performance metrics and identify gaps to improve revenue and client engagement
* Develop client account plans to support long-term business growth
* Ensure timely execution of transactions and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
* Identify and manage risks across credit, compliance, and operational dimensions
* Drive cross-selling of non-credit transaction banking products
* Provide regular pipeline updates and contribute to business development strategies
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
* 10-15 years of experience in transaction banking or corporate banking
* Strong expertise in payments, liquidity management, and trade finance solutions
* Experience managing cross-border clients, particularly in East Asia markets
* Strong client relationship management and business development skills
* Ability to structure complex financial transactions and deliver tailored solutions
* Fluency in English; Mandarin language skills are an advantage
