Role Context
This position is responsible for maintaining smooth and compliant loan operations by ensuring transactions are processed accurately, reconciliations are completed on time, and operational risks are minimized. The selected professional will support internal stakeholders, maintain secure customer records, and contribute to continuous operational improvement across banking services.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient and error-free processing and authorization of loan transactions within approved SLAs
* Verify all processed transactions comply fully with customer instructions, internal controls, and bank policies
* Minimize operational risks by maintaining strict compliance with SOPs, policies, and regulatory standards
* Participate in User Acceptance Testing activities for new systems, process changes, and banking enhancements
* Review and update standard operating procedures periodically to maintain process accuracy and compliance
* Handle loan-related queries raised by internal stakeholders and provide timely operational support
* Ensure loan-related entries from NOSTRO accounts are cleared accurately and within required timelines
* Perform internal account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding or pending dues
* Maintain compliance with internal guidelines and applicable local and international banking regulations
* Act as primary custodian for security items and customer records with proper documentation control
* Prepare periodic reports and management information to support effective operational decision-making
* Participate actively in departmental initiatives, control improvements, and process optimization programs
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
* Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations, loan processing, or transaction management
* Strong understanding of loan operations, reconciliations, and banking control processes
* Good knowledge of NOSTRO account handling and operational compliance requirements
* Experience in UAT participation and process improvement initiatives is preferred
* Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in transaction processing
* Good communication and coordination skills with ability to work under operational deadlines
