Role Context
This position acts as a central governance leader within the PMO, working across multiple business units to define, implement, and continuously improve project management frameworks. The role ensures alignment of project execution with strategic objectives, enhances reporting standards, and drives enterprise-wide adoption of best-in-class PMO practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to design and implement PMO governance frameworks
* Define and maintain project management processes, templates, and policies across the organization
* Establish and manage RACI matrices and governance structures for project delivery
* Develop standardized reporting frameworks and ensure consistent communication across portfolios
* Support creation and maintenance of business case documentation and project artifacts
* Provide guidance to portfolio heads on project execution processes and governance requirements
* Lead awareness sessions and training initiatives on PMO practices and tools
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PMO maturity and efficiency
* Monitor adherence to governance standards and ensure alignment with enterprise PMO playbook
* Prepare executive-level reports and updates for senior management and committees
Ideal Profile
* Strong experience in PMO governance within banking or financial services
* Proven track record in implementing enterprise-level project management frameworks
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
