Role Context
The Senior Relationship Manager plays a critical role in expanding and managing a portfolio of education sector clients while ensuring strong credit quality and long-term business sustainability. This position contributes directly to revenue generation, strategic growth, and cross-functional collaboration across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and grow relationships with key clients in the education sector, ensuring long-term engagement and portfolio expansion
* Identify new business opportunities and secure corporate clients across banking products and financial services
* Conduct financial and market analysis to assess opportunities, risks, and client performance
* Prepare transaction documentation including term sheets, mandate letters, and information memoranda
* Evaluate credit, operational, and market risks in collaboration with internal teams
* Lead negotiations, structure deals, and finalize financial transactions
* Maintain high portfolio credit quality and ensure compliance with internal standards
* Achieve individual and team financial targets through proactive business development
* Drive cross-selling initiatives across multiple banking products
* Ensure account plans are developed, maintained, and aligned with client strategies
* Oversee KYC, compliance, and audit requirements to meet regulatory standards
* Support daily client operations including documentation, communication, and account management

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
* MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
* 8-10 years of experience in corporate or investment banking
* Strong experience working with education sector clients or institutional portfolios
* In-depth knowledge of wholesale banking products and financial structuring
* Proven ability to manage large portfolios and achieve revenue targets
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
