Role Context
This role is responsible for managing strategic client portfolios within the industrials and manufacturing segment, ensuring revenue growth, strong credit quality, and deep client engagement. It plays a key part in expanding market share and delivering tailored financial solutions aligned with sector dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of industrial and manufacturing sector clients while maintaining strong credit discipline
* Identify new business opportunities and structure complex financing solutions across banking products
* Conduct financial and market analysis to evaluate opportunities, risks, and sector trends
* Lead deal structuring, negotiation, and execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and external banking partners
* Drive cross-selling initiatives and increase product penetration within client portfolios
* Monitor portfolio performance and ensure timely credit reviews and renewals
* Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal banking policies
* Support ESG data collection and reporting requirements for client portfolios
* Lead and mentor team members while driving performance and engagement
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline
* MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
* 10-15 years of experience in corporate or investment banking
* Strong expertise in industrials, manufacturing, or sector-based corporate banking
* Experience handling complex transactions and large client portfolios
* Strong credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk management skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
