Role Context

This position plays a critical role in supporting the relationship management team by handling day-to-day client servicing, transaction coordination, credit reviews, and compliance activities across the Corporate Banking segment. The selected professional will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure operational excellence, strong portfolio quality, and timely approvals across banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Support relationship managers in managing assigned corporate banking portfolios and maintaining strong client relationships
* Participate in financial analysis of clients, industries, and market sectors to identify opportunities and potential risks
* Assist in originating new business opportunities across banking products for target corporate clients
* Provide operational and administrative support for client accounts to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
* Coordinate end-to-end client transactions including documentation review, approvals follow-up, and execution with internal departments
* Maintain client files, account records, and portfolio documentation in line with internal controls and audit standards
* Ensure all credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed lending conditions are met
* Maintain satisfactory audit quality and compliance across the assigned portfolio
* Support the team in achieving financial performance targets and portfolio growth objectives
* Manage KYC, AML, and compliance requirements in accordance with bank policies and regulatory obligations
* Handle day-to-day activities including client calls, payment processing, account openings, pipeline updates, and transactional support
* Ensure adherence to internal processes for both existing portfolios and new-to-bank clients
* Follow ORM, BCP, internal audit, and process KPI requirements consistently
* Assist in preparing timely and accurate MIS reports, statements, and portfolio updates for management review
* Participate in training and professional development programs to strengthen banking knowledge and client service capability

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering, or related discipline
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Coverage functions
* Strong understanding of the banking sector, corporate banking products, and relationship management principles
* Good knowledge of credit analysis, financial modelling, and foreign exchange products
* Strong understanding of KYC, AML, compliance, and internal banking controls
* Proficiency in banking software systems and computer applications
* Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities effectively
