Position Overview
Dicetek LLC is hiring a Shari’ah Compliance Officer to support Islamic banking operations by ensuring that all products, policies, and processes comply with Shari’ah principles. The role involves reviewing documentation, providing expert consultation based on the resolutions of the Internal Shari’ah Supervision Committee (ISSC) and the Higher Shari’ah Authority (HSA), and contributing to Shari’ah governance and research activities. The ideal candidate will bring both deep Islamic finance knowledge and strong practical experience in Shari’ah compliance within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities
Provide consultation and expert opinion on contracts, product structures, and documentation to ensure alignment with ISSC and HSA resolutions.
Review and approve product manuals, internal policies, procedures, and marketing materials for Shari’ah compliance.
Assist in conducting Shari’ah audits, reviews, and risk assessments across banking functions.
Support the Shari’ah Compliance, Shari’ah Research, and ISSC Secretariat functions in daily operations.
Ensure adherence to Shari’ah governance frameworks and regulatory guidelines for Islamic banking and finance.
Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of Islamic banking products to ensure ongoing compliance with Shari’ah standards.
Coordinate with product, legal, and compliance teams to incorporate Shari’ah principles into business processes.
Prepare and submit reports and documentation to the ISSC and regulatory authorities as required.
Stay updated with AAOIFI standards, UAE Central Bank regulations, and emerging trends in Islamic finance.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Shari’ah, Islamic Finance, or Business Studies.
Certification from AAOIFI such as CSAA, CIPA, or CPSS, or Islamic Banking certification from CIBAFI.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Islamic banking, with at least 2 years in a Shari’ah Department.
Comprehensive knowledge of Shari’ah governance frameworks and Islamic window regulations.
Strong understanding of Islamic banking products and contractual structures.
Fluency in English and working proficiency in Arabic.
Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
