Role Context
This position is responsible for shaping the technical vision and architecture of EMS and TMS applications by aligning business requirements, compliance standards, and enterprise technology strategy. The selected professional will ensure robust service design, strong architectural governance, and future-ready application platforms that support operational excellence and digital banking transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Own all functional and non-functional aspects of EMS and TMS applications and manage architecture interdependencies
* Develop technical roadmaps for services, applications, and platform features aligned with business priorities
* Define architecture standards, system interfaces, and integration frameworks across services
* Liaise with business teams and technical stakeholders to identify new functionality and delivery priorities
* Lead code reviews, architecture communities, and engineering best practices across the value stream
* Ensure strong compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to banking technology services
* Make and document architectural decisions addressing regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
* Assess and document the impact of architecture decisions on cost profile and service efficiency
* Perform impact analysis for business requirements, regulatory changes, and technical constraints
* Maintain full traceability of architecture decisions, trade-offs, and design governance
* Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the service landscape
* Support cloud transformation initiatives and modern application architecture improvements
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
* Strong practical experience in Java programming and enterprise application architecture
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on architecture experience in a specialized technology domain
* Overall 10 to 15 years of technology experience across design, development, and enterprise systems
* 2 to 5 years of practical design or architecture experience within business solutions environments
* Strong understanding of cloud programming, service architecture, and banking application ecosystems
* Good knowledge of regulatory compliance and architecture governance in financial services
* Strong leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
