Role Context
The Technology Manager - Asset Management will act as a digital and data change leader within FAB Asset Management. This role connects business strategy with technology execution by developing digital roadmaps, improving core investment platforms, strengthening data governance, and supporting advanced analytics adoption. The position requires strong understanding of asset management operations, portfolio management systems, enterprise architecture, data quality, AI-enabled analytics, and emerging digital solutions such as asset pooling and tokenization.
Core Duties
* Identify technology, digital, and data growth opportunities across FAB Asset Management systems, platforms, and operational workflows.
* Develop and maintain the technology, digital, and data strategy roadmap for the Asset Management business.
* Support the implementation of approved digital initiatives, data infrastructure improvements, and technology transformation projects.
* Act as a change agent by advising leadership on relevant technology trends, digital tools, data solutions, and operational improvement opportunities.
* Develop IT, data, governance, and operating policies that support secure, compliant, and scalable asset management operations.
* Review existing core Asset Management systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, control, reporting, and user experience.
* Support the development, operationalization, and optimization of FAB Asset Management technology and data infrastructure.
* Work with portfolio management systems, client reporting tools, data management platforms, enterprise analytics solutions, and digital operations systems.
* Collaborate with business lines, technology teams, data teams, operations, compliance, risk, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align initiatives with business priorities.
* Drive adoption of enterprise analytics, AI, digital platforms, and data-led decision-making across relevant Asset Management functions.
* Strengthen data governance, data quality, data ownership, and reporting consistency across Asset Management platforms.
* Evaluate advanced technical solutions such as asset pooling, tokenization, platform automation, and scalable digital operating models.
* Track technology, digital, and data adoption targets to ensure delivery against business KPIs.
* Support process improvements that reduce manual work, improve reporting accuracy, enhance controls, and support a better customer experience.
* Stay updated with regulatory standards, technology frameworks, data management expectations, and market practices relevant to asset management.
* Prepare updates, recommendations, roadmap progress reports, and digital transformation insights for senior stakeholders.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, data platforms, enterprise analytics, asset management systems, or financial services technology.
* Strong understanding of IT systems, enterprise architecture, digital tools, and data platforms used by asset management businesses.
* Practical knowledge of portfolio management systems, data management systems, client reporting platforms, digital platform operations, and analytics tools.
* Experience developing or implementing technology roadmaps, digital strategies, data governance frameworks, or operational technology improvements.
* Good understanding of enterprise analytics, AI adoption, data quality, data governance, and digital operating models.
* Familiarity with asset pooling, tokenization, and emerging technology applications in investment or asset management environments.
