Responsibilities:
- Assist and report to the Senior Engineer and Head Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of daily engineering tasks.
- Support the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and electronic broadcast equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with engineers and manufacturers to resolve equipment problems.
- Handle logistics such as cleaning, packing, loading/unloading trucks, verifying delivery orders, and preparing shipment paperwork.
- Inspect returned equipment to ensure completeness, document missing items, and prepare discrepancy reports.
- Identify faulty equipment from returned shipments and coordinate with engineers, management, and headquarters for necessary actions.
- Maintain proper stock organization by cleaning and storing equipment in designated locations.
- Execute project work, including setting up, installing, maintaining, and dismantling broadcast equipment, adhering to industry standards.
- Assist engineers in keeping equipment updated with the latest manufacturer software releases.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and technical standards when handling equipment to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Stay up to date with new broadcasting technologies and apply them in ongoing operations.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours and be available for travel as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of equipment, cables, and power systems used in outdoor broadcasting.
- Understanding of how the Engineering and Warehouse teams collaborate to prepare kits and equipment for projects.
- Physical ability to carry out tasks that involve lifting and handling broadcast equipment.
- Willingness to travel for regional and international projects.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication and technical coordination.
