Broadcast Network Engineer - IT & Live Broadcast Infrastructure

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement broadcast network and IT systems, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability in live broadcast environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related technical issues.
- Work with vendors to evaluate, procure, and integrate new networking technologies and broadcast equipment.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to network architecture, system configurations, and IT protocols.
- Provide technical training and support to staff, ensuring best practices are followed in network and IT system operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering within a broadcast environment.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, and SMPTE 2022.
- Expertise in managing and maintaining Cisco network equipment, including routers and switches.
- Strong understanding of broadcast technologies such as SDI, AES, and MADI.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with technical and non-technical teams.
