Fleet Manager - Head Rigger

Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate OB trucks to various locations for live sports, concerts, and news broadcasts, ensuring safe and timely transport.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on all OB vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and that broadcast equipment is secure and functional.
- Oversee the setup and installation of cameras, audio equipment, satellite dishes, and other essential broadcast gear at event locations.
- Provide technical support by running cables, connecting equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with producers, directors, engineers, and camera operators to meet the specific broadcast setup requirements.
- Monitor equipment during live broadcasts, making necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality transmission.
- Plan and manage logistics, including route planning, event access, and securing necessary permissions for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, legal requirements, and industry standards related to both fleet management and broadcasting.
- Oversee the dismantling and storage of broadcast equipment post-event, ensuring proper handling and transport.
- Supervise and train rigging teams to ensure the safe and efficient execution of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in OB truck maintenance and rigging operations.
- Fluency in Urdu, Hindi, or Arabic is preferred.
- Valid heavy truck driver’s license with extensive experience driving across the Middle East and Gulf regions.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills to assemble, install, and operate OB broadcast equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy rigging and long working hours.
- Experience in rigging and mounting all OB equipment, including cameras, sound systems, and monitors.
- Expertise in cross-border logistics and operational planning.
