Senior Broadcast Engineer - Live Media & Outside Broadcast Systems

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for both base operations and project sites, ensuring smooth broadcasting processes.
- Set up, configure, operate, and maintain a wide range of electronic broadcasting equipment, including HD/UHD video, audio, and communication systems.
- Operate and manage RF equipment and antenna systems for seamless signal transmission.
- Troubleshoot technical faults at a system level and coordinate with manufacturers for problem resolution.
- Conduct site surveys and oversee project execution from planning to final delivery.
- Ensure all equipment is updated with the latest software releases from manufacturers.
- Maintain technical equipment and systems in compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Prepare engineering documentation for each project and ensure relevant teams receive required technical information.
- Ensure proper functionality of broadcast systems at project sites, resolving any operational challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients in the absence of the Unit Manager, ensuring their technical requirements are met.
- Conduct post-project testing of video equipment and report unresolved faults using the Fault Report Form.
- Assist in drafting technical reports and crew evaluations for project analysis.
- Lead and mentor assistant engineers and system integrators on projects.
- Participate in technical meetings and provide insights into broadcast engineering advancements.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedules, including travel for on-site projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in television broadcasting, preferably in an Outside Broadcast environment.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switchers, tally systems, and multiviewers.
- Proficiency in camera setup, integration of lenses, and CCU operations.
- Experience working with EVS equipment, including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, and IP Director.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or a proven track record in the broadcast industry.
- Strong understanding of radio, television transmission systems, and carrier networks.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, and networking.
- Passion for broadcast technology advancements and their applications in the industry.
- Experience with Cisco switches and IP-based broadcasting technology is a plus.
