Senior Manager - Sales & Business Development

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales function to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Drive end-to-end sales processes, from demand generation to successful deal closure.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand NEP India’s footprint within sports broadcasting, OTT platforms, sports leagues, and production companies.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations on NEP’s products and services, collaborating with regional teams to craft customized proposals.
- Oversee proposal activities and lead commercial negotiations to maximize deal value.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Explore new revenue streams within NEP’s existing business and assess opportunities for introducing new products and services.
- Actively engage in industry networking events, conferences, and forums to enhance business development prospects.
- Provide sales forecasts, performance reports, and budget insights to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of experience in sports broadcasting, sports production, or technical sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the OB or sports production business; technical knowledge is an advantage.
- Previous experience in sales within the Outside Broadcast (OB) or broadcast engineering industry is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from planning to deal closure.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; Master’s degree is desirable.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and team leadership abilities.
