**Reliability Engineer**

- **Job Summary**
As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in improving and sustaining plant reliability, helping to maximize production efficiency and minimize incidents. You will work closely with the Head of Reliability Engineering, providing technical support in asset management and problem-solving through advanced analytical methods and structured problem-solving processes. This role requires a strong understanding of reliability engineering techniques, asset lifecycle management, and preventive maintenance optimization.

- **Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate equipment criticality ranking sessions to establish efficient and systematic maintenance strategies.
- Evaluate and optimize existing preventive maintenance tasks to focus on effective failure prevention and eliminate unnecessary tasks (Preventive Maintenance Optimization – PMO).
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and implement preventive maintenance strategies for critical plant systems.
- Develop and maintain a long-term asset replacement plan to ensure timely replacement of critical production assets, supporting future plant turnarounds.
- Analyze production losses, identify problem areas, and propose solutions to improve plant reliability.
- Coordinate action plans for addressing plant reliability issues and ensure timely execution.
- Provide training on reliability tools and techniques as needed to enhance team capabilities.
- Lead or participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and ensure the implementation of recommended solutions.

- **Desired Candidate Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with at least 5 years specializing in reliability engineering.
- Strong knowledge of criticality ranking, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
- Familiarity with international standards for asset management (ISO 55001) and engineering (IEC, ISA, etc.).
- Possession of professional certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer), or equivalent in reliability and failure analysis is an advantage.
- Additional certifications in functional safety engineering (ISA / TUV) are beneficial.
