The Assistant Project Manager provides hands-on

Operating under the guidance of a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Regional Manager, the position coordinates resources, tracks project activities, evaluates emerging issues, and supports decisions that influence successful delivery.
The role may involve managing less complex projects or taking responsibility for defined phases of larger assignments. A key part of the position is recognizing risks and opportunities early, analyzing available options, and helping senior leadership select practical responses that protect project objectives.
As experience develops, the Assistant Project Manager also contributes to the capability of the wider team by guiding junior staff and promoting disciplined project management practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management of construction and infrastructure projects from planning through assigned delivery phases.
* Manage less complex projects or defined portions of larger programmes under senior project management supervision.
* Coordinate project activities, resources, schedules, documentation, and stakeholder actions within the assigned area of responsibility.
* Monitor progress against established scope, programme, quality requirements, and project objectives.

* Support project risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and follow-up.

* Maintain project records, progress information, action trackers, reports, and supporting documentation.
* Communicate project developments clearly to senior management and relevant internal or external stakeholders.
