Parsons Corporation is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil Infrastructure in Dubai, UAE to support the construction supervision of major roads, bridges, utilities, and associated infrastructure works. Reporting to the Resident Engineer, the role covers site supervision, technical reviews, contractor coordination, progress monitoring, quality and safety oversight, record management, and the handover of utility works to relevant service authorities.

What You\'ll Be Doing
- Report to the Resident Engineer and assist with supervision of roads, infrastructure works, utilities, and associated construction activities.
- Act
on behalf of the Resident Engineer during periods of leave or absence.
- Coordinate activities with engineers, inspectors, surveyors, and other members of the construction supervision team.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, utility-related correspondence, and other technical submissions.
- Prepare draft responses to technical matters for review by the Resident Engineer.
- Coordinate with Parsons design engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
- Maintain the daily site diary and oversee daily reports prepared by inspectors.
- Coordinate with contractor engineers on construction schedules and the deployment of resources.
- Direct, assist, and monitor inspectors and surveyors as applicable to assigned works.
- Convene and chair special coordination meetings involving service authorities, contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate and complete construction and project records.
- Monitor implementation of project safety procedures and support achievement of established safety objectives.
- Prepare or assist with weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Participate actively in site health and safety matters as required by the Resident Engineer and project safety representatives.
- Provide on-site technical direction and assist the Resident Engineer with site instructions relating to utility works and associated activities.
- Check and measure completed works and maintain records for comparison of actual progress against programmed activities.
- Verify the correctness and completeness of as-built drawings for assigned works.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience covering design, site supervision, and construction management on major infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges.
- Ability to review and justify material submissions and analyze laboratory and technical reports.
- Experience with acceptance sampling plans, testing procedures, and quality control measures to verify compliance with project specifications.
- Sound knowledge of contractual relationships within construction projects.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to access project data, maintain records, prepare reports, and use relevant engineering and construction software.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, including strong technical writing and communication capabilities.
- Ability to maintain necessary construction and as-built records.
- Experience supporting the handover of utility works to relevant service authorities and assisting contractors in obtaining final clearances.
- Candidate must currently be available in the UAE.
