Role Context
This position supports AECOM\'s Transportation business line within
Key Responsibilities
* Produce structural models and drawings for bridge projects.
* Coordinate drawing requirements with structural design engineers.
* Prepare bridge documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit.
* Develop accurate two-dimensional drawings and three-dimensional models.
* Apply BIM processes throughout design development and coordination.
* Support general CAD production and drawing-management activities.
* Work independently on smaller bridge and infrastructure assignments.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on larger projects.
* Deliver drawings and models in accordance with agreed submission dates.
* Maintain compliance with client drafting and modelling requirements.
* Review completed work for accuracy before formal issue.
* Coordinate models using Autodesk Navisworks.
* Support BIM coordination and clash-review activities.
* Manage project information through ProjectWise and BIM 360.
* Interpret engineering sketches and technical design inputs.
* Apply relevant CAD and BIM standards to all project deliverables.
* Understand how contractual requirements affect drawing production.
* Take ownership of assigned modelling and drafting activities.
* Provide guidance and technical support to junior CAD technicians.
* Share practical knowledge with other members of the digital-delivery team.
Ideal Profile
* Basic technical qualification such as a diploma or equivalent is preferred.
* Five to ten years of relevant drafting and modelling experience.
* At least five years of practical experience supporting bridge projects.
* Previous involvement in major civil infrastructure developments.
* UAE or wider Middle East project experience is preferred.
* Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
* Experience producing two-dimensional and three-dimensional models.
* Working knowledge of MicroStation for infrastructure drawing production.
* Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks for model coordination.
* Understanding of BIM coordination processes and deliverables.
* Experience working with ProjectWise and BIM 360.
* Awareness of commonly used construction contracts.
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Organized and proactive approach to assigned responsibilities.
* Strong attention to accuracy and client requirements.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
