Role Context

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the construction of roads, bridges, underpasses and related infrastructure.
* Coordinate site activities to maintain alignment with approved project schedules.
* Verify compliance with design specifications, construction standards and safety requirements.
* Review contractors\' shop drawings, material proposals and construction methods.
* Conduct regular field inspections and document construction progress.
* Identify defective or non-compliant work and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
* Prepare daily site diaries, inspection reports, meeting minutes and technical records.
* Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, surveyors and other project stakeholders.
* Resolve technical issues that could affect quality, safety or construction progress.
* Supervise inspectors and provide guidance regarding contractors\' operations.
* Review as-built drawings with inspectors and surveying teams.
* Monitor contractor performance against approved construction programs.
* Investigate schedule deviations and recommend practical recovery measures.
* Collaborate with senior engineers on solutions for complex engineering challenges.
* Verify compliance with RTA standards and approval processes.
* Ensure construction activities follow Dubai and UAE building codes and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals and completed works.
* Support the implementation of innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum seven years of construction supervision experience.
* Demonstrable experience with roads, highways, bridges and underpasses.
* Previous project experience in Dubai.
* Strong understanding of local construction practices and regulations.
* Detailed knowledge of bridge and underpass construction methods.
* Familiarity with RTA standards and approval procedures is preferred.
* Knowledge of Dubai and UAE building codes.
* Proficiency in CAD software and relevant engineering tools.
* Ability to supervise contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong project management and task-prioritization abilities.
* Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
* Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
