What You\'ll Be Doing
- Assist the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer with the supervision of infrastructure construction activities.
- Follow up on roads, utilities, and associated
construction works at the project site.
- Verify the contractor\'s adherence to construction documents and the latest applicable authority regulations.
- Assist with reviews of contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submissions, and requests for information.
- Provide necessary on-site direction within the assigned responsibilities.
- Support the supervision of site inspection staff in accordance with directions from the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Check and measure completed work as required.
- Observe site safety practices and identify matters requiring attention.
- Report site progress, issues, and relevant observations to the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Monitor the contractor\'s allocation of project resources.
- Assist in reviewing project closeout documentation.
- Participate actively in site health and safety matters as required by project engineering and safety representatives.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position when appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working on infrastructure, utilities, and roads projects.
- Dubai project experience is preferred.
- Experience working on fast-track projects is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience using computer software relevant to the role.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and logically with management and project staff.
- Commitment to safe working practices.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.

The Civil Engineer supports day-to-day construction supervision while helping maintain alignment between field activities, approved documents, authority requirements, and project expectations.
